The TransLatin@ Coalition organizes an annual fundraiser event to display Transgender, Gender nonconforming, & Intersex people as high fashion models.
WHAT: The TransLatin@ Coalition and several supporting agencies are putting together a unique fashion show called GARRAS (Groundbreaking Activism Redirecting & Reforming All Systems), highlighting Trans, Gender Nonconforming, & Intersex individuals as high fashion models displaying garments from locally known and upcoming designers and stylists.
WHERE: Pacific Design Center, 8687 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood, CA 90069.
WHEN: November 19, 2022. 7:00 PM
WHY: To raise funds for The TransLatin@ Coalition and support the programs of The Center for Violence Prevention and Transgender Wellness. A program that provides supportive social services to transgender people in Los Angeles.
WHO: Transgender, Gender nonconforming & Intersex individuals who will model outfits and customs from known local and upcoming designers and stylists. GARRAS Fashion Show event is endorsed and sponsored by: Gilead, Keck Medicine of UCLA, SoCalGas, Kaiser Permanente, Walmart, Bank of America, Flux, Glamazon, LOUD, Amazon, City of West Hollywood.
