Felipe Agredano
Agredano, is the startup founder, CEO and founding President of Agredano-Lozano and Associates a Public Affairs Consulting Firm. Served as a Senior Policy Consultant for Southern California Association for Nonprofit Housing and as the Associate Executive Director for a local United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approved housing agency. Founder of HONOR PAC and Alumnus of NALEO's CA Leadership Project. Served on the national board for the United States-Spain relations Asociacion Lideres Hispanos and was appointed to a Los Angeles County Commission, elected as President, served as School Board President Trustee and Chair for the California Democratic Party (49th Assembly District).
Agredano holds an Associate of Arts degree from the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD); dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Ethnic Studies from The University of California, Berkeley; Masters from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts; and three fellowships in comparative religion from Oxford University, England; Universidad Menendez Pelayo in Santander, Spain and Early Christianity in Italy.
While at Harvard, Agredano served in the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies as a Research Assistant at the W.E.B. Du Boise Institute, Teaching Fellow for Afro-American Studies and as administrator at Radcliffe College. He served as Senior Field Representative for the Chair of the Higher Education in the California State Senate. Agredano is faculty at the Los Angeles Community College District where he lectures in Political Science, History of World Religions and Chicano Studies. He lectured at Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cal State, Northridge, Arizona State University, LA City College, LA Trade-Technical College, and East Los Angeles College. He has presented at the American Academy of Religion, the Society for Pentecostal Studies, La Red de Investigadores del Fenomeno Regioso en Mexico and the National Association for Chicana Chicano Studies.
Agredano provided editing and research experience on such notable publications as The Dictionary of Global Cultures published by Kwame Anthony Appiah and Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Published in Harvard's Journal for Latin American Studies ReVista, Amazon best-seller ‘Leadership Habits’, and was guest researcher for the “Study for Behavioral Health Studies”, in the American Journal of Public Health”.
Agredano is a frequently invited expert guest on religion matters at local, national, and international networks such as TNT’s east coast US, Caribbean and Latin America, US networks like UNIVISION programs like “Aqui y Ahora” and “Al Rojo Vivo” on NBC-Telemundo. Agredano has appeared on FOX, CNN Español and has been quoted in The Los Angeles Times, La Opinion, and The Harvard Crimson. Making an impact on every environment inhabited, his accolades include the Eastside Democratic Club distinction as “Democrat of the Year”, the Government of Spain named him, "Young Hispanic American Leader” and during the 80th anniversary of La Opinion he was profiled as a “Future Leader”.
Agredano has convened religious leaders for Housing, Financial Literacy, and HIV/AIDS summits, dialogue, and prayer. For nearly two decades he has facilitated the Apostolic Round Table for LGBTQIA+ Pentecostals, served on the Azusa Street committee for the centennial commemoration.
